Take turns placing your mark on the three by three grid. The first player to line up three
in a row, in any direction, wins the round. If the grid fills with no line, the round is a draw.
Playing with the keyboard
The number keys match the grid the way a numeric keypad does. 7 8
9 are the top row, 4 5 6 the middle, and
1 2 3 the bottom. Tab and the arrow keys move between
squares if you prefer, and Enter or Space places the mark.
The three computer levels
Easy mostly plays at random and will miss chances, so it is beatable in a
few moves. Medium always takes a win and always blocks yours, but its other
moves are loose. Hard searches every remaining position to the end of the
game, so it never makes a mistake. Against Hard the only result you can force is a draw,
which is exactly what perfect play from both sides produces in this game.
