How to play

Race Dash

Accelerate: Up arrow or W
Brake: Down arrow or S
Steer: Left and right arrows, or A and D
Boost: Hold Shift
Pause: P, or Escape

Stay on the tarmac. The grass scrubs your speed off fast, and the traffic does not move out of your way. A connected gamepad works too.

The number keys map to the grid the way a numeric keypad does, so 7 is the top left and 3 is the bottom right.

Move: Left and right arrows, or A and D
Jump: Space, W or up arrow. Hold for a higher jump
Run: Hold Shift
Pause: P, or Escape

Land on an enemy to defeat it, but never on a spiked one. Walk into either and you lose a life, unless you have picked up the power up first. On a phone, tap the Run button to latch running on, since a thumb cannot hold it and jump at once.

Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Every game is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript that runs inside the browser tab. There is no plugin, no runtime and no app store step.

Which browsers work?

Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Brave and Opera, on Windows, macOS and Linux. Anything released in roughly the last five years is fine. A keyboard is needed for the racer and the platformer.

Are my scores saved?

Yes, in your own browser only, using local storage. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Clearing your browser data clears your best times with it.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Once a game has loaded it keeps running with the connection off, because everything it needs is already in the page. You only need the connection to load it the first time.
